You said you'd keep that under wraps

The Crazies 6/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-21-2020 09:19 AM

The Book of Eli 6.5/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-21-2020 06:27 PM

Mirrors 7/10

I enjoyed it for what it is. I also now fear for Seanny and his sanity, if his place of work is full of mirrors.

The Invisible Man - 9/10

That was really good. Definitely recommend.

Isn't that the movie where the trailer reveals everything? Damn, the reviews seem good.

slik 03-22-2020 03:39 AM

The trailer doesn't give the movie away.

I think the most memorable/best scene in the movie (imo) was not even in the trailer.

I think you would like the film.

Seanny One Ball 03-22-2020 04:08 AM

Would I like it?

Damian Rey 2.0 03-22-2020 04:14 AM

The Foreigner-7/10

Jackie Chan plays a former special forces soldier now in his 60s who suffers immense tragedy after a bombing in London. He goes on a mission to find the bomber, putting him in the middle of the political plotting, backstabbing and leveraging Pierce Brosnan finds himself in trying to play both sides of the Britishand Irish fence. Thoroughly enjoyable if not a bit thin. Sad Jackie Chan might be the best Jackie Chan.

Why you asking someone else if you would enjoy something?

I Lost My Body - 7/10 Was ok I guess, but nothing I'll ever watch again

Ome Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest- 8/10

Frozen II - 7/10

Felt kind of "rushed" in general... was just like "hold on, that's it?"

Whole thing was pretty aimless

Acting is really great throughout. The writing of the 2nd act is very much a product of its period but its central premise and themes are timeless

You literally came into this thread to give your opinion on a movie you saw. Be gone!

The Invisible Man - 7/10

So many logical flaws but perfect at creating tension.

Guess you didn't understand the last response

Droford 03-24-2020 11:50 PM

1917 - thought the whole "one shot" thing as hyped as it was would still come off as an unnecessary gimmick used to disguise a shitty movie but honestly its one of my favorite war movies.

9/10

Droford 03-25-2020 03:39 AM

Jumanji 2 - didnt really like it

5/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-25-2020 08:37 AM

A Perfect Getaway 7/10

I liked the swerve.

Seanny One Ball 03-25-2020 05:00 PM

I enjoyed the swerve a lot, not the obvious one.

rez 03-25-2020 07:41 PM

Outbreak..6/10

I hadn't realized I'd seen it years ago so I'm gonna count it. So unrealistic but it fits the mold for the current hysteria.

Black Widow 03-26-2020 02:54 PM

The Peanut Butter Falcon.

I'll give it a 7/10 don't think it was as good as reviews claimed.

Zombieland Double Tap.

Almost as entertaining as the 1st but not quite.

7/10

Are you hitting the redbox up like I am, cause i just rented those lol

Zombie land 2 I probably should have watched the first one over again, 10 years is a long time between sequels.
It was ok but maybe not the best time to rent a zombie movie.
6/10
Ford v Ferrari - I'm not big into the type of racing involved but I felt they did a good job with the story elements and the racing. I thought Christian Bale did a better job than Matt Damon. Overall my only criticism is it felt a bit long at a bit over 2 1/2 hours.
8/10

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-27-2020 07:45 PM

Heat 8/10

I think I'd only ever partially seen the film before now, so this was probably the first time I've seen it the whole way through.

To say it is nearly three hours long, it kept me engaged throughout. I'd forgotten about 1990s Al "I'VE GOT TO SHOUT EVERY OTHER WORD" Pacino.

rez 03-27-2020 08:54 PM

Vivarium 10/10

It just came out on VOD

I really don't know how to explain it...so I won't. so fucking weird

https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/...77,268_AL_.jpg

Weirdest fucking movie since Mandy.

GD 03-27-2020 09:45 PM

You had me at Imogen Poots.

El Vaquero de Infierno 03-28-2020 05:02 AM

Hands off, Dave, Imogen is mine!

OssMan 03-28-2020 11:16 AM

rez 03-29-2020 01:51 AM

Sing Street - 10/10

I loved the singing.

RE: Poots

I called dibs back in 2011 when I saw that Fright Night film. I still like it.
