Even if you look past The Young Bucks being shit, there’s not really any meaty “story” reason for it happening. Have they even been linked on-air before? At least FTR are from the Carolinas, if you went with them.

And still ignoring that The Bucks are shit — even if you want to pretend they are good — what they are good at is an entirely different thing to what Sting needs.

Then there is the fact that they are actual total shit.

Wrestling Twitter is brutal. The creeps come out on Instagram. And the racists are all over YouTube comments.

Tough call for worst comment section.

Big Vic 01-19-2024 08:08 AM

Wife looks at girly shit on instagram and the comment section is vile.

Mr. Nerfect 01-19-2024 01:02 PM

It’s convenient for some to use the idea of negativity on the internet as a straw-man to dismiss platforms.

A lot of noise on Twitter about the kick out at one by Hook. The response reminded me or when Omega kicked out at one with Osprey.

I still don't get the appeal but the fans seem to go crazy. Years ago DDP commented that his match with Goldberg would have been much better had Goldberg kicked at out after 2 following the Diamond Cutter. I agree.

The long two counts followed by a last second kick out adds to the drama. I imagine Cactus Jack kicking out of the Pedigree at 1 at the Royal Rumble having nowhere near the same level of impact.

News section reckons it was Stings call, if thats who he wants more power to him I guess. They will bump there asses off for him I'm sure, there interactions with Darby will be wild, but its an odd fit.

In a perfect world (for me) Sting would have made a run at a heel MJF for the World title but fall short. This leads to Darby beating MJF and then offering Sting a shot at the title, Sting falls short and retires. But it sounds like Stings not up to a singles run and I guess that scenario or sone like it robs him of his farewell tour.

The man can do as he pleases in my book so if he wants the Bucks I hope he goes out on a good show. He does seem to like jumping off high shit in this run so that might fit well with the Bucks and Darby.

The kick at one sounds fucking stupid and like a shark jumping moment for the match. Kicking out of the powerslam? Cool. That’s his kick out spot. He can counter the Muscle Buster once. Next time Joe hits it, slaps in the choke, that’s it.

Kicking out of moves isn’t hard. It’s kind of cheap.

Mr. Nerfect 01-22-2024 07:17 AM

Who cares if Sting did choose The Bucks? It’d be great if legends made good choices. Sting didn’t.

No one is straw manning at all.

The comment was that all of Youtube comments are terrible, because they are.

Others added that it gets worse on other platforms, and they're also correct.

No one is dismissing platforms, Noid just can't comprehend simple words.

That’s not true at all lol.

Mr. Nerfect 01-28-2024 06:17 AM

I happened to have a TNA video open. Frankie Kazarian turns on Eric Young. Almost all the comments at the top are either positive or simple observations.

Mr. Nerfect 01-29-2024 06:37 AM

Dave Meltzer apparently had a minor meltdown whining about The House of Black and how they “never do jobs” like they’re the ones booking the company. He’s mad that they want to go back to WWE even though WWE treated them “like shit.”

The Fraze 01-29-2024 06:40 AM

It's difficult to take anything Dave Meltzer says seriously. I hardly pay attention to him (or many of the dirt sheet writers) anymore.

Mr. Nerfect 01-30-2024 01:42 AM

He compromised his own credibility.

The Fraze 01-30-2024 06:21 AM

Absolutely.

Vastardikai 01-30-2024 09:21 AM

Also know that HoB went to Collision to get away from the clown show.

Mr. Nerfect 01-31-2024 07:57 AM

It’s weird, because HOB do jobs. I remember Buddy Matthews losing two big singles matches at the onset of Collision. They’re also not trios champs anymore. So it’s just not reflective of the reality.

But also lol at how the show is booked around this alleged stuff and NONE of it is put on Tony Khan.

It’s also annoying when this came up for a guy like Miro, who reportedly refused to lose to someone. The more pressing point is that Miro shouldn’t have been losing.

Mr. Nerfect 02-01-2024 06:10 AM

As AEW’s attendance drops to absolutely abysmal lows, Tony Khan has discovered a remedy to address this: He has a huge announcement planned for a Dynamite. Either this week or next week. Who cares?

Ben Rodrigues 02-01-2024 06:46 AM

Still don't like the rankings. Can't remember exactly how the old format was, but having the four singles champions and then the contenders ranked 1-5 is confusing. Is number one the number one contender to all the singles belts? Or are they #5 overall? Does that mean Christian is the number one contender to the AEW title?

Mr. Nerfect 02-02-2024 06:33 AM

They are a bad idea, they always were a bad idea, they always will be a bad idea.

XL 02-04-2024 05:40 AM

Think HoB’s contracts don’t expire for a few years. By which point the will they-won’t they break up with Judgment Day might have been concluded and The Final Testament will have proved as further evidence that you just can’t get Kross over. Open spot for a Spooky Bollocks group.

The Fraze 02-04-2024 05:57 AM

Will Tony Khan subtweet about The Rock/Roman/Cody situation?

I’d be happy for them to have individual runs.

🤞

Mr. Nerfect 02-08-2024 03:22 PM

Lol, I cannot wait for the drama once Sasha Banks gets to AEW. It’s pretty funny they’re calling the show “Big Business.” Way to draw attention to you being small time.

Lock Jaw 02-08-2024 03:25 PM

On a scale of 1-10 how awkward do you think Tony Khan's hug with Sasha will be?

Might be slightly less awkward than this

You love this joke eh? Haha

Lock Jaw 02-08-2024 06:02 PM

People who aren't on the temp forum didn't see it.... so had to do it again

Supreme Olajuwon 02-08-2024 06:59 PM

I mean this thread is basically people repeating the same few jokes for over 5 years so it makes sense.

The product has continuously sucked in the same way for 5 years. When the content gets fresh, the material making fun of it will.

It will be somewhere between Claudio and Okada.

Nah, Sasha is going to lean into it. But she won’t be able to hide her disgust. It’ll be like palms on the back, eyes closed, grimace, as little body contact as possible.

Every week is the best shows AEW has ever done.
Every month AEW is on the best run they have ever had.
Every tweet Tiny makes is more and more desperate.

While WWE had the wrestling world going crazy, Tiny is tweeting this...
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thank you all who watch AEW!<br>I believe this past week on Saturday Night <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AEWCollision?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#AEWCollision</a> + last night Wednesday Night <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AEWDynamite?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#AEWDynamite</a> each was among our best shows ever!<br>I'm so excited about what we're doing now in AEW thanks to your support going into <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AEWRevolution?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#AEWRevolution</a> + <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AEWBigBusiness?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#AEWBigBusiness</a>!</p>&mdash; Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) <a href="https://twitter.com/TonyKhan/status/1755764474680852750?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 9, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Everything is the best AEW, if you ignore the show content, the attendance, and the ratings.

Mr. Nerfect 02-09-2024 04:48 PM

AEW is about to cross over into what they do doesn’t even qualify as news territory.

He could have just DM’d the few people who still watch AEW. No reason to make a public statement.

They were also among the worst shows they’ve ever done. Of all the shows they’ve done, they were among them. Everything is great — blah, blah, blah. How about striving to be better than shit?

It’s really great someone is excited for what AEW is doing, even if it’s just the guy who owns it.

Can’t wait for The Young Bucks to suck the air out of the room for Sting’s last match and Sasha Banks to come out and talk about how she’s the new CEO of AEW and will be Women’s Champion soon!

Mr. Nerfect 02-11-2024 04:20 AM

Lol, Swerve Strickland on AEW: “We are the best in the ring. Just because we’re not stopping a show to speak for 30 minutes and do all these melodramatic things doesn’t mean it’s not storytelling. We’re just giving you an alternative to the storytelling. Like the Continental Classic.”

Didn’t he just illegally break into his rival’s house to try and cut a promo on his baby? I’d maybe not take shots at others being melodramatic.
