- For those in the UK and Europe in general, Sony announced price hikes for Playstation Plus memberships will happen starting next month and all tiers except the annual membership will go up in price.

- Sony announced a new promotion for Playstation Plus called "Vote to Play" with select games to be voted on as either part of the monthly free offerings or as special discounts for PSN. Voting starts on August 13th for the September free game and discounts.

3) SALES - Steam is currently having a sale on a variety of Japanese indie games as part of the upcoming Comiket expo in Japan.

4) According to the game's creator, Her Story has sold around 100,000 copies since its launch last month.
