They need to promote the show more, but how many people even realize that POP exists? They should promote what they have left, but the company has chased away all the talent that helped lend it an identity, and it's not like people were
never aware of TNA. They've pissed away whatever good will existed for it on the internet and have squandered their word of mouth tools.
There's some talk that they want to bring in Goldberg or Rey Mysterio. Both would be big signings, but you have to know what to do with them. Does Goldberg go right after the title? If you put the belt back on EC3 and then have Goldberg come in, does he take the belt or do you stifle him right out the gate?
Rey Mysterio is the easier one to use, because the path with him is really simple -- put the X-Division Title on him and let him "make" Tigre Uno. At the same time, allow him to work AAA so that you can build that goodwill and maybe even be able to pinch talent when you need something fresh. AAA would surely like to get a few of their new crop of guys over too, so the occasional "AAA showcase" in TNA might be worth something to them.
Maybe you can even lock down guys like Johnny Mundo and cross-promote him with Lucha Underground and AAA? TNA might not have enough of a presence to get back on PPV, but maybe joint ventures with AAA in America might work? Okay, I have gone off on a weird tangent here, but I think they need something else, because the "TNA" brand is basically bad news at the moment.
