Wasn’t part of the reason that New Japan left the channel in the first place was because there was pressure from Anthem to work more heavily with Impact? New Japan of America is still running shows, but we haven’t seen any cross-pollination there.

Make no mistake about it, New Japan wasn’t happy about AEW even existing, and they got boned over good by The Elite. If Anthem had the leverage to make a fairly good offer to generate Bushiroad some revenue with the implication of greater exposure thanks to the working relationship between WWE and Impact (whatever that turns out to be), it isn’t a ridiculous idea to restrict who you accept for bookings to try and diversify wrestling outside the big two.
