Frost/Nixon - 9/10 Kinda dragged a little, but overall it was a very well done movie. |

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - 5/10 - So disappointing. Great premise and really well directed and stuff, but the story was just fucking shitty. It was dull and boring and there was nothing original about it whatsoever under the aging gimmick. And the movie was like 3 god damn hours long and I just felt like I wanted it to end already. Hannah Takes the Stairs - 7/10 - Another low budget, shot on video movie. Dialogue mostly improv. I <3 these kinds of movies. |

WALL-E 10/10. Probably the best PIXAR movie ever, maybe next to Monsters Inc.

Have you seen the Puffy Chair, if not I reccomend it. It's by the Duplass brothers( I think you posted one of their short films before) I also reccomend checking out some of Bujalski's other films... great "mumblecore"

Yup. I have had The Puffy Chair on DVD since like last year but still haven't watched it for some reason. Baghead was amazing though if you haven't seen that yet. And I just added a bunch of mumblecore movies earlier today to my Netflix queue. "Kissing on the Mouth", "Funny Ha Ha", "LOL", "Mutual Appreciation", "Dance Party, USA". |

Tropic Thunder 2/10 - Christ, Ben Stiller and Jack Black need to never ever do a movie together again.

I'm not a huge Ben Stiller or Jack Black fan but that film is nowhere near that bad. I wasn't expecting it to be much good, but I was pleasantly suprised. Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise are great. I'd be more like a 7/7.5

Doubt - 10/10 Meryl Streep is fucking amazing. She is her character, completely and totally. It's insane and amazing and subtle and fun to watch - as much if not more so than Ledger's Joker. Seymour Hoffman is great as well, and Roger Deakins' work as DP is just beautiful. Go see this movie. |

Knocked Up - 7/10 Decent film, not Apatow's best. Enjoyed the exchanges between Rudd and Rogen's characters and the arguments between the couples were realistic. Thank You for Smoking - 8/10 Enjoyed this. Great cast (Eckhart, William H Macy, J.K. Simmons, even Rob Lowe). Gotta love a bit of satire now and again. |
