Them crooked Vultures

7/10

It's one of the best sounding rock bands I have ever heard. It's full of really sick hooks and riffs, and I love Homme's voice.... But there are only 2 or 3 really good songs, the rest are blaz� and the lyrics are pretty much forgettable.

The Strokes - Is This It

10/10

Every song is beautiful. The Lo-fi electic indie sound was virtually invented with this record. Julian's voice is so unique and lazily perfect and suits the music of the band so well. I put it on because I saw it was top of the NME best albums of the decade, and because they are touring next year, and after listening to it for the first time in a while, it's hard to argue against it.
