They transitioned him into a whiny teenager who plays with knives rather than the scary psychopath type they were originally going for. White is a lot more comfortable being a sneaky shitheel, the first iteration never felt genuine. His match against Suzuki in the G1 where he came up against an actual scary psychopath who absolutely crushed him was a cathartic moment.
