If the next zelda isnt a traditional zelda (traditional dungerons, item progression, etc) i wont play it. The quality is there but i dont enjoy the central puzzle design being "what kind of jank can you make to solve this?"

I want a hand crafted experience with thoughtfully designed puzzles and interesting items. If that isnt what theyre selling going forward I'll pass.

Was Echos of Wisdom like that? (didn't play it)

I also didn't really craft with the game but it was still fun, also a bit harder than BOTW, at least at the end.

This is what every mother fucker was complaining about before BOTW. "Zelda is stale, it's the same thing every time, waa waa." I think the open world ones are too successful to scrap. We're probably limited to the 2D-3D Zeldas for eternity as far as "traditional" zelda goes
